Artist Statement:
My grandfather's collection of carefully stored memories while serving in the Army Air Corps was my inspiration for the work. The art reflects a short reprieve in Hawaii amidst an ongoing global war. These items infuse colorful extracts of the past for the viewers' interaction reflecting on this impactful and historical period.
